On Christmas day, WCUW radio (91.3 FM, in Worcester, Massachusetts) will broadcast an interview of me on Marlene Narrow’s “Vegan Nation” show. It will be on Friday, December 25, 2015 at 12:30 pm to 1 pm Eastern time (10:30 – 11:00 am Mountain time). (The interview has been pre-recorded.) The content will center around Jesus and vegetarianism. You can listen online by going to their website and click on the button on the left-hand side that says “WCUW Live / Listen Now!”
UPDATE December 26: here’s the link to the archive of this show (an MP3 file).
I enjoyed the program and even took a few notes. I have been involved in both conservative and liberal Christian groups and neither seemed interested in vegetarianism, let alone veganism. While the liberal denominations might entertain the ideas in your books, as I am sure you know the conservatives who believe the Bible was divinely inspired in its entirety wouldn’t consider it at all. For those people, maybe it really doesn’t matter whether or not Jesus ate meat. There is still a compelling argument for Christians to abstain from animal products. No one who knows anything about the modern factory farming could possibly believe Jesus would take any part in consuming its “products.” Then again, it is a form of blindness, and I believe that Jesus can still make these blind see. But they must want to be cured, and there’s the rub.
Can I find any other details about this subject in other languages?
The only non-English books that I am aware of are the books by Carl Anders Skriver in German. Do a Google search or look for his best-known work, Der Verrat der Kirchen an den Tieren, e. g. on Amazon or on Abebooks.com.
